What do I do?
I help you feel proud of your English.
I work mostly with intermediate and advanced level students who are looking to take their English to the next level.

What is a language coach?
For me, coaching is a much more personalised service. I help the learner achieve specific goals relevant to their life, work, professional development, or even social needs.
How do you do it?
It’s important to set goals. Often, the learner might have broad goals like, “I want to improve my fluency.” I try to focus on situations where the learner will need fluency. Then we consider any issues that might be preventing them from doing this. E.g., pronunciation, specific language problems, vocabulary, and of course, confidence.
How long does it take?
I can be a problem solver. I’ve helped students prepare for presentations or exams in a number of days. However, many students prefer a longer project. Meeting once or twice a week over a longer period, just as you might with your swimming coach.
How much does it cost?
Prices start from just €50 per hour. That includes practice activities and support between the sessions.
Most students need just one session per week, so it's not as expensive as you might think.
Who are you?
The short version is, I was born in the UK, then, over the last 20+ years, lived in various countries teaching English, copywriting and proofreading. Now I live in Finland with my wonderful family. I love nature, travel and outdoor sports. You can find out more from my LinkedIn and Instagram.

Henry is one of the best English teachers I have ever had. I was particularly impressed with his passion for teaching: always energetic, happy to answer all the question and to provide additional learning materials. He also focused on the practicalities. In my opinion, if you are looking for an English teacher, he is the best choice.
- Réka Vataja, Administrative Assistant at European Chemicals Agency
Henry Loveless taught me English for about a year from 2019-2020. I quickly needed help updating my language skills and one of my colleagues recommended him. We focused especially on the legal vocabulary.
As a teacher, Henry is knowledgeable and supportive, as well as approachable and highly cooperative. He tactfully corrected the mistakes and recorded the new words and grammar we went through in an hour and sent them to me after the class. He prepared lessons in advance and submitted material such as articles on current affairs. Our conversations during the lessons were interesting and fun. The lessons were really helpful, I learned new words, my passive vocabulary became active and the courage to use English rose to a new level.
I highly recommend him.

Henry is an inspiring teacher with energy and he knows exactly how to prepare students. He has a positive and encouraging teaching style and he really shows concern for his students. I really enjoyed working with him and I highly recommend Henry as a professional English teacher.
